Hey guys!! I'm SOOOOO sorry it's been so darn long!! I fully intend to update MUCH more frequently now. I've had a really lethargic summer, I didn't feel like updating or making anything. It was terrible! But I'm snapping out of it, as you can see. I've added a section devoted to the musical Wicked, and added some icons and a wallpaper to it. I hope you enjoy them! I know I'll be making more soon. Once, again, I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me. :( I won't be gone so long now!

Hey guys!! You've probably forgotten about little ol' Light of Stars by now, (and I don't blame you!) but as evidenced, I've finally got it open!!! There are a few things that need fixing, but I figured if I didn't put this up now I'd never get around to it.
As you probably noticed, you had to click through a sign that said that Light of Stars is at a "temporary new location". This is because I was really dumb and installed this script at this location instead of the other one (so that I could work on it without closing the other site), but that means that all the links that I put in for the site's address point to here. Of course, I could go through it all and change them (there's like a million), but I figured I'd rather open it sooner at a new address then wait longer just for me to change the links. It's "temporary" because I think that I will probably get around to changing the links, just not now. :)
Along with all the other obvious changes, I've also added the ability for you guys to comment on my updates, so comment away! :P

Well, after a looong time without updates, I'm finally posting in here. I've been extremely busy as of late (that reminds me of Gandalf in Edoras lol), which is why nothing's happened. Light of Stars' 1st birthday is coming up too, the day after my own birthday. :) It's hard to believe I've had this site almost a year, and mostly updated consistently. But the thing is, I haven't been lately. (Obviously...) No, I don't intend to close this site. But I do want to change it. The brutal truth is...I just don't make that many Lord of the Rings graphics anymore. When I started Light of Stars (or "Faen" as it was called then), I basically only made Lord of the Rings stuff. You know...Return of the King hadn't come out yet, let alone the DVD. It was just a lot more about hype than it is now. Plus I have other interests. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely ADORE Lord of the Rings just as much as I did when I first fell into Tolkien's world. But since then, I've made a lot of other stuff that's just sitting on my hardrive collecting digital dust. I'd like to change Light of Stars into a general collective, but it will still include my old graphics. I'll still put up Lord of the Rings layouts too. I'm also going to employ the help of a script that will make uploading my art MUCH easier and quicker, ie. less of an excuse for me to not update. I don't want to put LoS on a hiatus, now that I've just put up the LOVELY layout that Larien made for me. ;) (Thanks so much!) So, Light of Stars will be going on a "semi" hiatus, which means that there will be a message saying there "offically" won't be any updates until I get everything straightened out. In the mean time, my site will still be open for you guys to look at. :) I hope my affiliates won't be too unhappy with this situation. Remember, I'm not getting rid of the content I have now, just adding to it.
